New Zealand Pure Dairy Products Limited was founded by Len Light. Len was the inventor and former owner of Easiyo Products Ltd (a dairy manufacturing and distributing company supplying dairy blends all over the world), who understood how important it is to make the product well and on time. Len sold his Easiyo business to Westland Dairy more than 10 years ago. He then set about building a state of the art canning line to manufacture infant formula.
Len retired from the business in 2016 and was replaced by his son Richard. It is important to Richard to carry on the family dairy tradition and continue to produce high quality infant formula.
The Company has developed two main brands and these are now sold in China, Korea and Vietnam.
Richard has four children of his own so understands the need for top quality infant formula.
NZPD is founded by Len Light.
The manufacturing facility on the North Shore of Auckland is commissioned
Begin exports to Mainland China and Hong Kong
Formulas are registered with the Korean Food & Drug Administration (KFDA) and exports to South Korea commence
The manufacturing facility is Registered with the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) for infant formula (Approval No. 9999)
NZPD begin exports to Taiwan
NZPD successfully registers 9 formulations with the Chinese Food and Drug Administration (CFDA)
NZPD begins exporting to Vietnam
Goat infant formulas are added to NZPD’s product range
